Well, I am sorry to Uncle J that I write in English again. I know it’s damn rubbish English writing but I don’t know why I just like this damn thing. Hmm..The winter vacation is about to reach its end and I am thinking what things I have done through these 30 more days.

Unlike what I planed as the vacation was at its beginning, I didn’t go on any trip. Not even the repeated HongKong or the cheap two-day-trip within the province. If you ask me any “regret thing”, I need to say I did have some. On the other hand, spending money and setting off for an uncomfortable place just for the beforehead promise, I don’ t really think it is worth the price, either money time or effort. Anyway, Merry, has been safe and sound in this lovely GunagZhou because of this not-knowing-result decision thoughout the vacation. I didn’t set my foot outside of GuangZhou this year. However, I did make up some excuses to comfort myself:

Reason No.1:I spent more time with my parents. Cos my mom retired since this Feburary and I had grabbed more chances to stay with her than ever before.

Reason No:2: Save money to some extent. I have to proudly say that I saved some money this winter vacation, not delivering any to the tour agency or unworthy high-tech devices (Iphone > ~ <).

Reason No.3:I had a rather free and relaxing vacation. Besides exercising for the never-gonna-realized goal( meeting the standard of a slim female), I also freed myself from the streesful daily-routine.

Anyway, comforting is just comforting. It might never serve as a good example for my future hope. Nevertheless, I need to say that this winter vacation is very special during the period of university life. Not because it was so meaningful that I did a lot of things to satisfy my thirst for pride nor that it was so substantial in content that I learnt a lot of things either for applying for any courses as in the past or traveling overseas like some of my rich classmates did.

People say that we should do a lot of things while we are still young. To travel and to experience. Maybe people like me staying at home will be considered as slum dogs or idiots. Yet, I indeed think somehow we should have a time to stop and think. Spending time with the people you love is also valuable because they are the people who are getting old all the time and that sooner or later they will be away, from you of course.

If I need to add a key-word to this vacation, I will tag “Love” and “People”. Although these people may be those whom you meet everyday or similar to the ill people I visited in the nursing house who are not worthy of paying attention in your eye, I really think what I am doing may raise a little change in the future life.

Life is fragile, more fragile than Maldives (The place I dream to visit). Maybe the minute you were indulging in your own affairs the next they will leave you forever. What’s more, many books tell you how to succeed but few are those telling you to spend more time with the people you may deeply regret lacking care after your success.

This vacation, short as it seemed, was precious and lovely, at least in my eye.

I wrote down this diary in 40 minutes so the words may be too simple for your enormous vocabulary and there will be grammar mistakes for sure. Sorry for that.
