On Dreams
Well, ever since I left 6MS and switched to be a college student, I have to admit that I neglect English for a long time. Yet, it’s not my point today. Today, I just wanna randomly talk about the things that occur to my mind these days. Therefore, this article could at most be a diary rather than a so-called academic essay~
Sometimes, I always wonder what is ‘DREAM’. Does dream simply refer to the things we are desperately dying for? Or does that mean the things we somehow encounter yet accidently fall in love with like what we do when sleeping? In fact, dreams can be far more than that.
In my childhood, I always dream of dreams. It never means I am a dream maker but that I always want things. I have ever wanted to be a scientist like Madam Curie, ever wanted to be the first woman president in China, which by this time seems indeed ridiculous and insurmountable. As the days gradually went by, I try to adjust my goal by making it a bit more reasonable, for instance, making being a scientist into being a writer.
In fact, it’s not the outside environment the only element that attempts to steal away our dream, we ourselves should also be included. Yes, we ought to admit that when we make a wrong choice when trying to outline a future dream, it nearly seems impossible for us to fulfill it. But if it is a proper choice yet we never work hard for it, it’s us to blame for not having the goals be accomplished.
To me, at different stages of life, I will hold on to different dreams, a good school in the past, and a good job in the future. Does it seem a little bit too easy to achieve? Maybe not. What is the definition of ‘good’? No one ever told me that and for no doubt the answer should be uncovered by myself. Anyway, the ‘good’ becomes my dream.
It’s undoubtedly that some dreams are hard to follow, especially the ones we made in childhood. Well, I don’t mean that the dream itself is hard to follow but that the dream chaser finds it hard to follow the dream. When we were little, the world was new to us. We were curious to almost everything that happens around us. Together with it, our ambition grows as the days went by. And that’s what I call it ‘big dreams always come from little mind’. Unfortunately, the vows we once made were gradually hidden by the burden of life. We could not let go the life（生活） which supports our life（生命）, so we choose to let go our dreams.
It’s a sad thing to say how many of us can hold on to the dreams we once made when we were little. And it’ even sadder to know that how many of us have already forgotten the dreams that used to bury in our innocent mind. If till this day, you still have one or two, please cherish them and root them in your heart.

挺多语法错误的……有些句子说得比较含糊。
梦想这东西，每个时期的梦想都不同。做好当下就可以了。

我来这里贴英文文章只是求有人指出语法错误，回顾一下高中语法而已

“We could not let go the life（生活） which supports our life（生命）”括号里的解释是本文的最大败笔，完全无视大家智商 楼上的说有语法错误，我看貌似并不多，写的很好
