Do you actually believe there's such thing as English Corner? pfff.....one hell of a pathetic clam trying hard to make themselves look stupid. It ain't gonna help you in any case trying to pick up a language, dude.

If there's any advice I can give you for getting a better speaking skill, that would be listening to it. You can't force yourself to conduct a speech if you find yourself can't speak well in English, cos that way you'll only end up getting into speaking improperly. When you speak, your mind should always be searching upon what you remember based on what you've heard of. It means if you wish to know how to speak out in any circumstances you might come across, you'll need listen and remember the correct responses of a native speaker under such circumstance, and make slight derive only if needed. This, I must say, is the ONLY way to avoid getting into improper way of using English. You don't really need to promote your speaking skill through hard practice, the whole idea of 'speaking out loud' is all wrong. You don't need to speak if you feel weak about it, you just have to listen! Get around some sitcoms, audiobooks, television shows, they're all coming in very handy, and trust me, it is the right way.

To a extent, you are right. but if you change your angle,you'll find that one wanna pick up a foreign language,he or she have to do this way.U know,thinking,listening and no practice do not make any sense.There got to be some ways to the goal,though they may look stupid.,right? By the way,being in the Englsh Corner doesn't means I'll 'speak out loud' .The idea 'speaking out loud' is to encourage the learners who lack of courage.I'll be one of them. I don't know whether or not the way I talk meet the criterion of courtesy. If there's any offence please excuse me.

you know what, what I wanna do most right now is to make friends with native guys like you( I bet you are not a chinese). If you would like to, that would be my honor.

My interest in English makes me listen to English stuffs all the time but finally I realise that chattering  though no one is listening cannot make me talks like a native speaker. I've listened too much,OVA,CNN etc.
